About Riannon
Graduating from Victoria University with a Master of Osteopathy, she has more than a decade of clinical experience working in osteopathy. She has undertaken extensive professional development to expand and hone her vast skills and continues to do so to provide her patients with the highest level of care.
Riannon believes that it is essential to not only assist patients with their current injury but to address the factors causing and maintaining their issue, providing a comprehensive approach to her patient care. She enjoys treating patients of all ages, incorporating various techniques including massage, joint mobilisation and dry needling. Though she has extensive experience treating all manner of injuries, Riannon has particular interest in headaches and neck pain, Jaw pain/TMD, lower back pain and pregnancy/post-partum osteopathic care.
Following the birth of her first child in 2020, Riannon was faced with navigating the challenges of paediatric food allergies and intolerances due to her son’s extensive issues in this area. She was committed to understanding his condition and learning how to best manage and support his health, sparking a passion for paediatric nutrition.
Riannon soon gained a reputation for her knowledge in this field and has since helped countless parents identify and manage their infant’s food intolerances and allergies, as well as supporting parents through introduction to solids, nutritional guidance and other difficulties including fussy eating. She believes optimising children’s health through nutrition is vital to give them the best start in life.
As a coeliac herself, Riannon is also able to offer advice for coeliac and gluten-intolerant individuals to help them navigate this often challenging world.
She has completed a Master of Human Nutrition with Deakin University and is a member of the Nutrition Society of Australia.
Riannon is a mother to two young children and enjoys spending her spare time making memories with her family, cooking, doing yoga, reading and has a love for all things travel.
